Final Competences of the Study Programme
To be able to perform a data-analysis in R:
- To import data in different formats, converting to a data structure that is consistent with the data base design and facilitates the required analyses, with corresponding data types;
- To calculate new variables;
- To select and program plot types and tables to inspect and present relevant aspects of the data;
- To perform and present the output of basic statistical tests;
- To code efficiently and transparently (basic use of loops and user-defined functions, avoid hard-coding).
