Learning outcomes

Have knowledge, understanding, and practical experience in basic sciences such as (bio)chemistry, physics, mathematics, data analysis, and microbiology.

Have knowledge, understanding, and practical experience in engineering sciences in bioprocess technology focused on circular bioprocess technology.

Analyse the sustainability of circular bioprocesses.

Select and implement appropriate analysis and measurement techniques for applications in circular bioprocess technology.

Identify, select and interpret subject-specific sources of information in a goal-oriented way.

Setting up and optimizing a scientific experiment under supervision.

Collect data, process the data statistically and test mathematical models against the data.

Application-oriented and analytical problem-solving thinking, design, development, and creative innovation.

Demonstrate a research attitude: accuracy, critical reflection, scientific and technical curiosity, and justification of choices made.

Communicate and present the results of technical and scientific work graphically, in writing, and orally to peers using scientific and discipline-specific terminology correctly.
