The Master's program offers a broad range of topics regarding industrial processes utilizing biological systems, such as the production of biochemicals and biopharmaceuticals, fermentation technology and brewing, and biological waste water treatment. Upon completion of the MSc, students carry the title of ‘industrial engineer’. An industrial engineer in Biochemical Engineering Technology takes the lead in the efficient execution and optimization of these processes to achieve sustainable and high-quality products. Additionally, graduates are equiped with the most up-to-date molecular tools for developing new products and supporting processes. They have an investigative, problem-solving, and critical attitude rooted in a thorough background in molecular, enzymatic, and microbiological systems that they can apply across numerous sectors and job profiles.
