What
The Faculty of Bioscience Engineering offers a wide selection of English-taught courses in Plant and Animal Genetics and Biotechnology, Applied Microbiology, Biopharmacy and Bioinformatics.
Virtually all courses contain theoretical classes and practical exercises and/or laboratory work.
Structure
You will need to select courses for approximately 30 ECTS-credits per semester (half of which are on offer at the faculty of Bioscience Engineering). It might be interesting to consult the courses offered by other Ghent University faculties, such as the Faculty of Sciences, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, or the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, as they also offer courses that might be relevant for your home degree.
