Final Competences of the Study Programme
- Explain primary, secondary and tertiary prevention and the link with health/healthy lifestyle, physical activity, sedentary behavior and sports.
- Select and explain measurement methods for physical activity and sedentary behavior in healthy populations and patients populations.
- Explain the association between physical activity, sedentary behavior and physical fitness on the one hand and morbidity and mortality on the other hand.
- Explain the physical activity paradox.
- Estimate physical fitness. Use an exercise test to create a training programme with distribution in intensity and training.
- Perform a preparticipation screening. Create a risk profile.
- Explain the biological aspects of training-induced health effects.
- Explain the role of nutrition as a basis for optimal revalidation.
- Explain the role of physical activity and sedentary behavior in different chronic diseases.
- Explain the aspects of behavior change in changing physical activity and sedentary behavior.
