Final Competences of the Study Programme
- Explain each item of the financial statement of a company.
- Assess the impact of decisions such as procurement, sales, investment, financing on the total assets, the liquidity and the profitability of the company.
- Understand the VAT-principle.
- Apply valuation principles of assets and liabilities in the context of real companies/organizations.
- Record the main transactions of a firm in the financial reporting system.
- Prepare the financial statements (projected balance sheet, profit & loss account) for a given set of transactions, similar to one would do when preparing the financial plan (legally 1 required for starting a business)
- Use the accounting language in a correct way.
