Postgraduate Certificate Dutch as a Foreign Language and Applied Communication (Level of Dutch: CEFR B2)
Dutch as a Foreign Language and Applied Communication is a one-year academic programme that provides foreign students with the unique opportunity to engage in an intensive and advanced study of Dutch as a foreign language, all within the environment of a Dutch-speaking region. The programme is designed for students who aspire to study the Dutch language and further develop robust communication and/or translation competencies.
Open Days
Each spring there is a Graduation Fair. It consists of a job fair (with more than 200 different companies) and a postgrad/master fair.
For some programmes, there is a specific Open Day. If this is the case, you will find the date here (at the latest Feb 15th).
Admission for students holding a Flemish degree

- Een diploma van een masteropleiding aansluitend op een bacheloropleiding
- Een diploma van een masteropleiding die volgt op een andere masteropleiding
Admission for Students holding a Non-Flemish Degree
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Humanities or Social Sciences.

Depending on the selected specialization, prior knowledge at CEFR level A1 or B1 is required. The evaluation of Dutch language proficiency is determined by examining the contents of your file, which includes the courses you have completed and your prior educational background. If your current Dutch language proficiency is not verified, you have the option to take a language test. If you find yourself in this situation, please contact us for further assistance
