Final Competences of the Study Programme
- Have thorough knowledge of the historical and current debates on heritage and the role of heritage in society
- Be able to critically identify and interpret the role of heritage in society
- Be able to recognise and contextualise current developments in relation to heritage at local, regional, national and international levels
- Have thorough insights into the ways in which individuals, communities and groups relate to heritage within society
- Have updated insights into ethical and legal issues on the role of heritage in society
- Be able to make a substantiated ethical-legal contribution to the debates on the role of heritage in society
- Have thorough knowledge and insights of the wide range of groups and communities in the hyper-diverse society and encourage and facilitate their participating engagement with heritage
- Have updated and innovative insights into cultural literacy, public participation and multi-voiced, inclusive communication on heritage in society
- Develop strategies to establish, build and consolidate sustainable relationships around heritage with super-diverse audiences
- Be able to conceive, formulate and implement innovative trajectories of multi-voiced and inclusive communication, cultural literacy, and public participation on heritage in society
- Be able to use quantitative and qualitative data on heritage in society in a research-based and applied manner
- Have thorough insights into possibilities and challenges of digitalisation and digital accessibility of tangible and intangible heritage, as well as archiving and accessibility of digital heritage
- To conceive, formulate, elaborate and implement appropriate strategies for innovative trajectories of digitalisation of heritage and digital heritage, keeping in mind various stakeholders, partners, users and a diverse target audience
- Continue to develop interdisciplinary, multi-perspective visions on the role of heritage within constantly transforming societal contexts
- Provide focused, critical, multi-voiced and inclusive advice on strategic and future-oriented choices in the accessibility and valorisation of existing heritage collections, as well as be able to formulate recommendations for the proactive detection, identification, acquisition and valorisation of future tangible, intangible and digital heritage collections
