Master of Laws in International and European Law (European Union Law)
The European Union Law specialist programme presents the best of the Ghent University Law School’s renowned expertise in EU law for students aspiring to specialise in the law and institutions of the European Union. By a careful combination of mandatory core course units and specialised electives , students receive an all-round high-level EU law education, while maintaining freedom of focus on personal career or research needs.
Open Days
Each spring there is a Graduation Fair. It consists of a job fair (with more than 200 different companies) and a postgrad/master fair.
For some programmes, there is a specific Open Day. If this is the case, you will find the date here (at the latest Feb 15th).

Admission for Students holding a Non-Flemish Degree
To have a law degree, i.e. the degree that - in its country of origin - is required for the exercise of the legal professions. Students who are graduating may apply and can be conditionally admitted, subject to the successful completion of their degree.
After an examination of their curriculum and in view of their acquired competences, candidates may be admitted who have a university degree other than law. In such case, the admission may be made subject to limitations with respect to the courses to be followed.
To present proof of sufficient English proficiency at C1-level.
To have sufficient financial support, either through personal financial means or via financial aid.
To apply for admission to the LLM-programme before the deadline, with the completed application form and all required documents.

Flexible trajectories
Flexible trajectories refers to alternative ways of following our courses. It might mean that a course can be spread in time as to allow the combination of work and studying, or that students with special needs get the support they need to allow a successful study career.
For the students combining (full-time) work and studies, it might be possible to spread the LLM Programme over two years upon obtaining agreement from the Directors of the LLM Programme. This way the working students can, for example, equally divide few subjects among four semesters or do all the 1-semester subjects in one year and all the 2-semester subjects in the next year.
An international experience
Going abroad with Erasmus is wide-spread and well-known. But getting an international experience is possible in many different ways.
