Final Competences of the Study Programme
- Having clinical and theoretical insight in the following key concepts of psychoanalysis: the triad Real, Symbolic and Imaginary; drive/jouissance; ego/I; subject; division; structure; unconscious; other and Other; psychosis and neurosis; symptom and elementary phenomenon; language and speech, the act, transference.
- Having insight in the historical evolution of psychoanalytic thinking and in the link with societal and cultural evolutions.
- Understanding that psychoanalysis has a case-oriented focus and takes speech as its point of reference for diagnosis and interventions.
