These courses, offered in 10 languages, familiarise you with the cultural backgrounds and linguistic aspects of those languages, offer insight into their structures, functions, and histories, introduce you to their rich literature, and enable you to analyse (literary) texts.

The workload is 30 ECTS credits per semester or 60 ECTS credits per year. You will need to select a study programme of at least 20 ECTS credits, 60% of which is offered by the faculty of Arts and Philosophy. It is not necessary to limit yourself to a single exchange programme; courses from different programmes may be combined.
