Masters of Electrical Engineering are capable of developing complex electronic (communications) systems for a broad field of applications efficiently and methodically, starting from the conception and analysis over the design, implementation, testing, and up to the management of such systems.

Learning outcomes

Competence field 1: Competency in one or more scientific disciplines

Possess advanced, theoretically profound, knowledge of the own engineering discipline and the ability to apply this knowledge in a creative and critical way to new, complex problems.
Be able to design innovative products or processes using appropriate or autonomously developed and validated models and techniques, using recent digital technologies.

Analyse, specify, design (based on fairly generally formulated needs) and implement advanced algorithms and protocols for data processing and data exchange in telecommunication systems and multimedia systems.
Specify and carry out measurements on complex systems that incorporate an important software component, and draw conclusions about the further development path given the measurement outcomes.
