Postgraduate Certificate Computer-Assisted Language Mediation
Technology for language professionals. The CALM postgraduate programme prepares students for a career in the language, translation and communication industry. The programme focuses on the technological skills and tools that are required in today’s information society.
Open Days
Each spring the graduation fair EVOLV. organised by the UGent Association, offers the opportunity to discover all possible options to continue studying or to start looking for a job (with more than 200 different companies).
For some programmes, there is a specific Open Day. If so, it will be announced here (at the latest Feb 15th).
Admission for students holding a Flemish degree
- Admission Subject to an Enquiry into the Suitability of the Holder of the Diploma

- Een diploma van een masteropleiding die volgt op een andere masteropleiding
Admission for Students holding a Non-Flemish Degree
Applicants should hold a master’s degree.
All teaching is carried out in English. Therefore students must have sufficient fluency in written and spoken English (see language requirements).Language requirements
The language requirements for the Postgraduate Certificate Computer-Assisted Language Mediation differ from the required standard level for English taught study programmes as specified in the Ghent University Education and Examination Code:
English: the student should be able to prove level B2 as defined in the University Education and Examination Code.
