- Mastering advanced concepts, notions and principles of analytical and environmental chemistry, such as the theory and use of advanced analytical techniques, general concepts and strategies for analysis in various application fields in a multidisciplinary context, and being able to apply the acquired knowledge to solve complex problems in a creative manner.
- Making use of relevant scientific knowledge in the study of more advanced ideas and applications in analytical chemistry and environmental science.
- Understanding and using advanced methods for chemical analysis, focusing on trace-element, isotopic and chemical imaging type of applications down to nanoscopic scale.
- Understanding the interplay between experimental and computational approaches in analytical and environmental chemistry.
