Bachelor of Science in Business Economics
Our programme focuses on the study of businesses and their functional domains: how and why a company is established, how it is financed, how it organises itself administratively, how it produces goods and services, how it markets and sells those goods and services, how it deals with personnel and how the company’s management coordinates and steers all those activities.

- Knowing and usinge the core concepts and theories related to the fields of business economics.
- Understanding (commercial) law, human sciences and organizational theory and interpreting their importance and interaction with business reality.
- Using statistics, mathematics, research methodology and digital tools in the solution of business economics problems.
- Analysing and resolving under guidance business research problems from a scientifically based critical attitude.
- Identifying, processing and correctly refering to scientific sources.
- Chosing and correctly applying research methods and techniques in business economics research.
- Critically processing the results of existing and own initial research with respect for deontological requirements.
- Forming a critical judgment about a business reality based on scientifically based analysis and logical reasoning.
- Analysing a current social issue or issue within a business economics sub-domain from multiple perspectives and models.
- Abstracting knowledge to develop improvements and innovations in enterprises.
- Reporting (written or oral) on the results of own research and reasoning on business economic issues.
- Communicating in a language other than Dutch (written or oral) about business economics issues and their solutions.
- Working in (a diverse) team on the analysis and solution of a business economic issue.
- Being aware of the various drivers (social, economic, environmental) within a company and their impact on the company and/or its environment.
