Master of Science in Psychology (Personnel Management and Industrial Psychology)
The discipline of psychology studies the causes and effects of human behaviour and uses this knowledge to provide aid workers and counsellors with helpful insights. The Master’s programme results in the professional title of psychologist. The main subjects each have their own structure and finality, but all of them have made sufficient room in the curriculum for a work placement.

- Master advanced knowledge of organizational psychology and creatively apply it to approach complex problems (individual, teams, organization).
- Independently and critically apply supporting and related disciplines to approach complex problems (interdisciplinarity, transdisciplinarity).
- Have insight into the specific nature of psychology (theorising, modelling, information gathering, analyzing and concluding) and insight into scholarly practice, and independently apply knowledge of topical discussions on these issues to approach complex problems.
- Apply various organizational psychological paradigms, and delineate and creatively use their limitations.
- Acquire basic insights in macro-– and business economic laws and their relationship to the organizational psychological practice.

The title of "psychologist" is protected in Belgium (Law of 10-8-1993). Masters in Psychology who want to carry this title, must be registered on the 'list of psychologists'. Subscribing to and updating of this list is done by the Commission of Psychologists (www.psychologencommissie.be).
