Final Competences of the Study Programme
Master competences
Role as health care provider
- M1 Possess insight into the causes, clinical symptoms, prevention and principles of treatment of health problems, with complex and specific disorders.*
- M2 Independently execute and interpret the screening, medical history and relevant clinical examination of patients with complex and specific disorders.*
- M3 Coach and empower various target groups regarding health-promoting behaviour and with attention for prevention.*
- M4 Independently make a physiotherapeutic diagnosis on the basis of clinical reasoning for patients with complex and specific disorders.*
- M5 Independently formulate physiotherapeutic targets, compile a treatment plan, execute and assess for patients with complex and specific disorders.*
- M6 Report both in writing and orally on complex clinical situations with patients and those personally involved, colleagues and non-colleagues, within an (inter)national context.*
Role as health care manager
- M7 Integrate social, ethical and legal consequences of new developments into a real clinical context and into scientific research.

- MSS: persons having complex and/or sport-specific musculoskeletal disorders, taking into account the coach and any others personally involved
- Paediatric: a child or young person having complex disorders, taking into account his or her parents, teachers and any others personally involved
- Internal: persons having complex internal disorders, taking into account the family context and any others personally involved
- Elderly people: persons having complex disorders typical of the ageing process, taking into account the specific residential setting, the family context and any others personally involved
